We have had another change in seasons, and my choke on the carb will not adjust. When its realy cold I set it and it is just fine, then it warms up and it runs too rich on start up. Then I set it for the warmer weather and it turns cold (the weather) and stalls and heasitates. I thought the auto choke should compensate! It did the same on my old carb. and now I have a new Carter BBD on my 258 six cyl. and it acts the same. The choke is wired straight to power through a thermal switch to cut it off at high temp, and it used to have a resistor in the power wire. I replaced the resistor and it was just as bad, now I took it out and it's better, but not like it should be.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Shane
