unknown bracket

I have a bracket in the rear cargo area on the left behind the wheel well, the spare in underneath and the jack stows in the right wheel well so I can't figure out what its for. It has about 3 wingnuts sticking up. Its an 88 GW. thanks

Whatever it is it ain't stock. PO probably added it to hold a larger than stock spare.

Does it look like this by any chance? This is a 70s dealer option for the spare. The left side of the picture is the foot that mounts to the floor.

No it doesn't look like it, they sre just metal strips about 5-6inches long going leftto right with wingnuts going to the floor, I am trying to find the camera to get a picture of it.
