I finished my ’88 GW it has an ’87 hood and grill and wiring harness. I rebuilt the burned up original engine. Bored 60, ground crank and new everything else.
Other than machine work I did everything myself in about 2 months, but one of the months I was waiting for I wiring harness that never came, so I was in a holding pattern.
I did the paint (color matched the hood and grill plus a little trimming on the grill) and straightened the rad. core support (could have done better on that, or better yet I should have replaced it) myself. I also adapted the pig nose where there was a final type before.
I think it’s about 10 footer, but I never claimed to be a paint and body guy, or engine for that matter, but I do it cus I enjoy it.
