H3 and H4?

What exactly are the different types? Is it just the plugs? Or is 1 brighter than the other. Also, are all H3 bulbs the same?

Its the bulb itself I believe. the h4 is brighter than the h3. Unless were talking hummers here. In that case none of em are very bright. lol.

A 150 watt H3 isquite a bit brighter than a 55/60 watt H4. H4 is high/low beam. H3 is on/off, and usually used in accesory lighting. Bulbs totally different.
