thought i heard ,read somewhere someone using a 208 and another case...............or was that the voices in my head again:confused: ................anyone

I remember hearing it too, but I didn't read it carefully. I'm thinking the 208 just got confused into that discussion.

You can put a divorced tcase behind the 208 if you want to. You just need a short shaft to connect the two, mount the second one firmly like the first, and have enough wheelbase for the rear ds angle to be less than ridiculous.

*disclaimer, I've never done anything like that.

i dont know why one couldnt use a maddog doubler with a 208!
other than strength i cant think of any other downfall to the setup!since it was made for a d300 behind a 231 half,208 has the same pattern right! seems like it would fit to me! but iwouldnt want to stress an alum case like that on the back of a doubler! just my $.02:thumbsup:
yah know i wonder if the front output will clear the 231 half??? something you would have to check with a supplier!
it seems it should since a flipped d300 does,but i am not certain on this.

thanks alot for the info dudes:thumbsup: my head hurts now..............not sure if im going to go doubler or just try a t 18 208 combo and ditch the 727
