NP229 manual 4x4 conversion

I am tired of troubleshooting the vaccum switch, I heard there is a mechanical linkage type retrofit availible for jeep transfer cases. Does anyone know if such a think exists for a NP229, and if so where? The ad I saw had a T handle connected by cable to the transfer case.

Don't give up yet, Terry has just adjusted my linkage for the NP229 and front axle disconnect and it is working...

When you really want to get challenged, try adjusting the Range Rod, so that your aftermarket seat will not hit it in 4-Lo :>
