GW rear seat

is there a trick to folding the rear seat. i can get it to fold down but not fold up.:banghead:

I had this problem when I stored my seat in the garage for a while. Something is binding in there. I never figured out what the problem was, I just yanked and tweaked on it for a while till it came loose and opened up.

Thanks i looked and could not find a latch and did not want it to get the better of me. tried prying on it with lug wrench but was afraid of bending the seat frame.

When you say "having trouble getting it to fold up" do you mean you can't get the seat back to go straight or that you can't get the seat to tumble forward? I had trouble getting the seat to tumble forward but all it was was that the seat wasn't centered in the body tub and was hanging up on one of the side latches. Seems simple but it was S T U C K.

Ya, see if you're hung up on one of the sides. It took me a while to see exactly where it was hanging but now it works great.
