I have a leak coming from my water pump...at least it looks that way...but it doesn't leak all the time. I noticed it today real bad when i got out of my jeep so i looked all around and it seems to be the problem. I have only seen one aftermarket pump by FlowKooler for a amc 401. It is about $80 and a replacement would be about $40. It says to cool 30% better and blah blah blah. Is it worth the extra $40??

Not really....but I think thats because of the leak. My jeep runs a lot cooler...but for mine that is half way.

Hey I have the FlowKooler water pump on my 360 and it rocks. The difference between the stock pump and the FK pump is the empeller. It is an enclosed design so thats why it flows so much better. Only problem I have is when it's cold outside. It takes a long time to warm up then. I actually read somewhere though that if you are running a stock radiator that these pumps can cause your car to run warmer. The reasoning was that it flowed to fast and never gave the radiator time to cool the fluid. Now I am running the stock radiator on mine and have had nothing but great results. ;)

I have used the flow cooler on a 360 also, and it was worth every penny I paid. my 360 was in a CJ7 with the original radiator for a 258 and it never overheated tongue.gif
