Need Help/Info please

Hi,
I purchased a fly wheel from a '69 J-3000,W/Dauntless 350.My question is what years of Buick 350 well the fly wheel work with.Also what about olds,pontiac,caddy.I'm sure some of you guys have swapped a wore out dauntles 350,for later model motor.Well be using the T-14(aa)for now.Thanks very much.

THE FLYWHEEL WILL WORK ON ALL BUICK 350'S. I COULD NOT TELL YOU IF THE OTHERS YOU MENTIONED WILL DROP RIGHT IN. THEY WOULD BOLT TO THE BELHOUSING BUT THE REST NO IDEA. ;) BY THE WAY SORRY FOR THE CAPS SPILLED COFFEE ON THE KEYBOARD ALL I HAVE IS CAPS. :mad:

Are you sure that bellhousing has the BOP pattern? I ask because, my 72 has the T400 with the early Buick "nailhead" engine bolt pattern. Always thought the Dauntless Buick used that pattern.

NO, THE BUICK 350 DAUNTLESS BOLTS UP TO AN ADAPTER PLATE, (BOP TO NAILHEAD) SO IT WILL THEN BOLT TO THE NAILHEAD TH400. AS DOES THE AMC 360 WITH ITS AMC TO NAILHEAD ADAPTER. ;)

My 72 had the AMC-to-nailhead adapter. So, I could just get a Dauntless adapter and use my 500 Caddy? Cool. Caddy 500-T400-Dana20...and put it in my ScoutII...Yow!
