got a gem today!

first off, pics soon, ok! got a 70 wag today for 500$. engine rebuilt VERY recently with 4bbl and HEI! clock in the glove box and no rust in the floor! the battery was dead and the guy even offered to tow it to my house on his dime! his wife didn't want it in the driveway anymore (one more reason I'm not married) :) it was dark so I couldn't take any pics. I just bought this so I can put the one piece axled dana 44 in my super, swap rear ends and turn it. plans may change though.

this just keeps getting better! rooted around in the back and found: manual tailgate regulator and crank, a full set of brakes ( definitely needed! ), and a box from bj's offroad with a full set of door seals brand new!

that is one nice find!! and for 500.....you are lucky, restore it with some paint, replace the seals, make sure it all works then enjoy:D :thumbsup: :fsj:

I've decided to swap rearends with the super wag, then give it to my buddy. I think the HEI may find its way onto the super too if it will fit with the a/c pump. think ill try to buff it and see if that paint will shine up a bit.

I think you're making a run on every pre '72 wagon in the Portland area! I saw that one as well and just had to look away. Swap the axles and let your friend have it just don't part it out. Congrats on the score! :thumbsup:
