on the 85 Gwag... with the 2150..... the ported vacuum at idle should be zero (off the passenger side port)

RIGHT or WRONG

if it is not zero.... but high 10 to 12" .... what should i look into... partially open throttle plate: they look closed to me

This thing is driving me nuts

Right. Ported vac is 0 at idle, manifold Vacuum should be at least 12" at idle once everything is adjusted.
Probably just don't have the right hose, or the hose are not connected or routed correct. So very easy to do.

My ported vacuum is 0 at idle and about 5 when the throttle is opened. But near sea level, your idle vacuum should be near 20. Unless you have a hot cam, you may have a vacuum leak somewhere.

manifold is right at 19...

but this is ported vacuum, in fact it is T also to the charcoal canister.... need to check before the charcoal canister

on the other list... they said that a plugged cat could do that.....

cheers
