Yep, time to swap 'em out. I am going to do the 'bad boy' passenger rear one first. It will make the rest seem easy.

i've always done 6 & 8 from above, maybe just the particular ratchet and socket i have makes it work.

I use the T-wrench with the universal and spring on it. Makes life seem a little easier changing out plugs, just wish it had a longer handle, would make the back ones easier to get to.

LOL - try a 2002 Nissan Frontier V6 spark plugs out for size - you'll never complain about FSJ again  then they'll ALL be easy.

I used a t wrench with a u joint in it, worked well, but it was cramped, I could barely reach in to start threading in the new plugs. I get to do it again on the Chero now...

I just got rid of a `95 Taurus SHO; the back 3 plugs require removal of the upper intake manifold to change them.
My `69 Ford Ranchero GT with the 390 required unbolting a motor mount and jacking the engine up to change one of the plugs.

So does the 2k3 Maximas, although they say they only need changing every 100k.

I daily drive my dads 98 sho and i hate working on it because everythings so packed in there. I enjoy driving it though and it gets better mpg than my jeep. The only thing the sho needs to be perfect is rear wheel drive and a 6 speed manual.

The Rangie was just as bad (if not worse - less room under the bonnet) as the Jeep.

Ditto (LOL, always...well, the only time I've done it:p)
#8 was easier than I expected after reading stories on here, spark plug socket on a stubby swivel ratchet, no extension or u-joint worked great. Funny how many combinations of extensions & u-joints you need to do all 8 plugs!
