Just signed up and thought I'd say hi. I've got an 81 J10 that I'm currently working on getting running. It's all pretty much stock but needs some work. It's been sitting for some time so I'm gonna go bumper to bumper and start fixing/replacing things.
It has a 4 speed manual and I know that it needs work. I've got a 79 CJ5 with a 304 and 3 speed also but I've not dealt with the FSJ's that much.
Anything that I need to be on the lookout for?

Well, When I bought the CJ I was intending to make it my trail rig.
But it was in such nice shape (stock) I decided to just leave it alone.
The J10 is at my parents place in Tennessee and I plan to use it when I'm visiting and for the occasion trail run.

OK, I'm not sure how you are seeing that. I was looking at the site statistics that said he was the newest member and the member total. Conceivably there could be a disparity there if the member total excludes some "former" members. Not sure.

Welcome aboard. You're in good company in Michigan. There's some good people in the UP and the southern tier.
