So far this has been about the easiest thing to do on this project. I just wrote a check and in about 15 minutes the doors look finished. The panels still need to heat up and then the waves in the pleats should fade away.

I was not sure that it would work, but I think it did work out pretty good.
Here is what the seats are looking like. The bottom is finished and the back pattern was going to be installed today. I cut out the kick panels and they will be covered late today. I should have it all installed this weekend if all goes well.

I was just looking through some of your old pictures. That T-side has come a long way. When exactly did you begin that project?

August 10th 2005 was the date I picked it up and I started taking it apart as soon as it was unloaded. I lost about 60 days on the project when the first painter sat on it and we could not agree on pricing. I have had several other issues that killed me on time. One was pulling the motor twice to replace the clutch and finally the third time it went to a transmission shop to be done correctly. (Advance Auto has supplied the wrong T/O bearing. The gave me $130 for the labor lost and took the parts back. I still lost about $300 on the deal.) With all the work, I am making pretty good time for the amount of work that had to be done.
I was shooting for the spring of this year since I started. It may be summer before it is on the road. My son having twin daughters out of the blue also stopped the flow of money and any extra time or it would have been finished by now. Thanks Holt

We have rented a house in Corolla the week starting with Fathers Day. Last year I offered to buy you lunch, maybe we can hook up this year. I can only stand so much Fun and Sun.
