Rear posts, how strong?

Hello,
The post spring mounts in the older J-trucks, how strong are they compared to the later type mounts, specially in the rear? Has anyone broken old style mounts?

They are VERY strong. It took a couple of days for my lift guys to get the old post mounts off. They are rediculously overbuilt. If you ever pull one off you will see why.
