Sweet! I love the look of that choptop style. I like that front bumper/exocage setup too. What's with the louvers on the rear fenders?
Great pictures.The scenery looks like Lake Cowichan, just up the road from me in Duncan. Dave

Sweet rides.....
Got any side pics? I'm planning on chopping my '77 like that and want to see what it looks like. I might go with an enclosed cab but both of these rigs are right up my alley. Good job.

Nice pics. I really like the front exo and the modified razor grille. Got any close ups of those turn signals or how they are mounted?

yeah what a blast...........I love wheeling with the choptop and the removeable tailgate skin......make it easier to see the trail. Thanks for the compliments guys, I am definately going to look at some body armor for mine and hurry up and finish up my onboard welder setup.
I hummed and hawed for way too long on my choptop mostly because I work outside but I went and picked myself up one of those portable 10X20 garages and a propane heater, and made my first cut into the roof. I just kinda winged it and 6 weeks later the top was done, body shortened 12", 6pt cage, body work, rear suspension changed, new bumper, and relocated my fuel tank and added a heavy duty skid plate. I am happy I pushed myself into it. I will get my pics together and post up a thread on the build sometime soon.
cheers Dwain

MAN, THAT IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! Those are a couple of gnarly lookin' beast-mobiles! I am soooo jealous! I am diggin that exo on the the Cherk! I keep saying I need to have my brothers old 76 Bronco with the big cold rolled steel bumpers for traffic persuasion fm time to time, but that Jeep would eat that old Ford up and spit it out! Awesome! Thanks for re-posting the pics! Please let me know if there is anything posted about how the exo and the doors went together for you!
:fsj::drivin:
I have tons of build pics on my fsjworld.com .. somethin like 400 pics of the build over the years ...
