i called all the tire places to get a price on the tires i wanted which were 15/42-16 TSL's interco id of SAM-87. i call 4wheelparts and give them the number sam-87 and they tell me its the new swamper SX in a 42, that there is no 42" TSL in a 16 inch rim, but every other tire dealer lists a SAM-87 as a TSL
4wheelparts is sopposed to be the #1 distributor of interco tires could they be on the up and up? the salesperson told me they became available as of dec 7th cost 1500 for 4 to my door and the other deals were asking 1420 to my door for the TSL's pretty close price
are SX"s really available in 42's?

Go to intercotire.com and check. However I used to have the 38" sx and now have 42 Iroks. The Iroks are so much better in all conditions including road manners that its not even funny. YMMV Blair

FWIW, not sure if you have them in VA, but I went to Discount Tire and they ordered me a set of Swamper LTB's and matched 4wheelparts price. They can get just about any tire and will match (or come close) to anyones price.

I would trust the guys at National tire and Wheel. Back when I firtst lifted my Cj at the beginning of my learning curve, I ordered my lift from them, and I asked about a lowering kit for the T-case, he told me he could sell me one for $30 or I could go to the hardware store and do it myself for $8 Anyone who will talk you out of buy something they sell will always get my business for whatever they don't! Does that make ANY sense??
