Wagoneer Body Swap (73 body -> 74 chassis)

OK, i found a wrecked 73 with a possibly usable body (not front clip though) and was wondering if it isn't tweaked, would it bolt onto my 74 chassis?

There is differences in the frames but I don't see why it cant be done. You'll have alot of parts there to work with. It will work even better if you have a welder.

what kind of differences in the frames?

the 73 is 360/TH400/QT/27/44
the 74 is 401/TH400/QT/44s

both have post mount rear springs, and fronts i don't really know if they are the same or not.

the 74 i am told has 14 body mounts, how many on the 73?

It should mainly be in the body mounts. You may have more or less and the postion may be a little diffrent. Nothing you cant work out easily though. Tough part would be transfering the body over. It will be very heavy you can remove everything you can unbolt from it and lighten it up.
