Kinda looks like the same clock as the super wag - just recessed into the dash?
I guess the question is, does it still work?

Not necessarily, depending on how fast or slow it runs, it could only be right once in 24 hours, or several times in 24 hours, or all the time.

now lindel....i know you know it's always gonna be right at least twice a day.;)
even when it's stopped it's correct twice a day,now matter how slow it runs it will always be correct at least twice, just at different times.

I opened it up, it looks like new inside, and it does work, the electric winder works fine, and it will run for about 45 seconds and stop, if I move the hands ahead (Very Hard to do) it will run for about another 45 seconds. Making me think that a bit of cleaning and oiling in the shafts that turn the hands would fix it.

Cigarette ash clog up the works? :D Forty five seconds huh? You must be using it to time your work on your rig. :)

Well it took me about 6 months to get a working one. I have that and the door about to go into my truck. Also have another glove box door without the clock but with the Jeep logo on an insert (for those doors without the clock). That way I could do either one :)

I got an NOS one from Da'bay. They pop up quite often. I am on the lookout still for the console clock for the Wags.
Probably even more rare is the Jeep dash compass from '63-'65. Somehow, there is a surviving one in my J200.

Anyone know how the winder/adjuster is disassembled on one? Bought one from EBay and was going to take it apart and clean and lube best of possible prior to sending juice to it but can't figure out the winder knob removal.

Thanks. Tried that already and was afraid of braking it. Once you verified I put a little more english on it and got it.

Nice. Mine will be the same in a yellow door, once I repaint the min. and hr. hand red. Peeling showing gold. Guess I could remove the rest of the red and make them gold!

Mine were orig red but the red is painted over the gold, oddly. May just be the color of the primer used. Or maybe these old Wagoneers are solid gold underneath all the grease and dust!!!
Got my ebay clock apart and applied Kryol to all moving parts and she's working like a charm. Very cool mechanism. My wiring that came with the clock is chopped so I'll be making due with splices till I find a nice intacted little harness.
