leaf spring problems

I put the leafs from an 86 wagoneer under my 75 j10. It sits a little higher now, are wag spring heavier duty. they have 7 leafs instead 6. anyone know any hard specs on the springs. And does it matter if tehy are put left on right and vice versa? mike
PS anyone know the exact dimensions for j10 u bolts? mike

Left right does not matter, just weather they are backwards or not. Also, your J-Truck doesnt have as much weight in the back compaired to a wag, as the wag has a bed, plus the top and such. Which is why wags tend to "sag" in the back.

I don't think there's a difference.

For the front springs I know of 4 types. 2 leaf "heavy duty", "4 leaf heavy duty", then the 6 and 7 thin leaf setups which are for a better ride. The 2 leaf setups have the worst ride, the 4 leafs have a slightly better ride, but still very stiff.
