Are you absolutely sure it was a Chevy 327? I ask this, because in the 60's, FSJ's were produced with the Rambler 327 engine. A good engine in itself, just overlooked by many.

Yup, I have the only 327 chevy powered FSJ as far as I know... if it has the badging on the side, it's a rambler motor... Find out how much for the emblems, I need a set for my Chero, you can send me an e-mail with the details of it, if you would please :D My e-mail addy is archiele@mac.com Thanks :D

Cool!! I learned something today! Yes it still had the emblems and It looked like the engine was about 95% complete. I thought it was a little unusual. If you guys want to call the yard, the place is called Mission Auto Parts and is located in Tucson AZ. Sorry I don't have the number, but a Yahoo Yellow Page search will get you the number. Also there were about 35 FSJ in the yard. From Wagoneers to pickups. A few old Rustangs too. Nice guys too.

Shoot Rob, I'm going to be in Mexico next weekend when you are planning to go to Mission. If you get delayed a weekend or so, or the next time you come up from Sierra Vista send me some email and we'll go together. I've been meaning to get out there for several weeks now, they are one of the best FSJ yards around.

No that's fine, looks like they have enough WT front fenders to keep me busy for a while. I need to talk them into donating a roof for the welding club to use as a template to prefit roof racks we want to buils with the students at school. I'm close enough I could go by every other day if need be. Thanks

Mission is a good place to buy parts from because they are very helpful. You might also try J T Auto wreckers in Calif. You can find them on the parts links. They are really great too.
