If someone could photoshop the forklift out of the pic and put say a Hummer in its place with a stream of water shooting out from under the Jeep with the caption "just marking my territory".

Good thing I ventured over to General Discussion today or I would have missed this.

We have a big Caterpillar that will do around 30ft. I knew Brutus wasn't going to flex THAT much so I just used the little fork.

I am compensating for the boat anchor that is the 14bolt! :D I am trying to have the OBA installed and ARB plumbed, hydro assist, bumpers, rocksliders, rocklights, air shifted D20 (from pirate) all done before the Moab trip April 19. We will see if this cold weather breaks and I can get some stuff done in the coming weeks.

I didn't notice it until you said it but that would be a funny picture. I will see if I can find a picture of a hummer online where the front suspension is collapsed
EDIT: Either one of these would work!

When I had the lift done I had the guys weld the tailgate tab back on. There is some FLIMSY sheet metal that holds those tabs to the bed. Like 18ga or something rediculous. It stays up on its own right now. :D
Thanks for the compliments guys!

Yes, I can't go get one now, but I've always loved the look of the J-trucks and M715s. I made myself a promise that I'd own at least one of them at some point along the way. I just got a GW as a tow rig and I would have looked at J-trucks except that it needed to be family-friendly.
The same thing happens whenever I read about that crew cab M715 project on the thread that was recently started... since I need family room, it'd be the perfect vehicle. Unfortunately my budget was rather small for something like that...
I like stock J-trucks, built ones like yours make me drool.

^^^ That is funny! I like it. I like where your head's at. Here I was trying to figure out how I was going to deal with the trees and clouds in the background. I am thinking that if you deleted the tree from the original and then copied the clouds & knoll to extend the space... you could then copy a large portion of the cloud on the left and replicate it on the right.
Nice work... you are to be applauded!

Buddy of mine emailed me to tell me about his TJ that he just picked up and how cool and clean it is, quiet and how he can't wait to go wheeling in it.
I sent him back an email telling him TJ's were cute, that girls love to dress them up and drive them and oh by the way if he wants to go wheeling he needs one of these...and I sent him that picture of Brutus, the meanest baddest all-business-no-games Jeep I've ever seen. Dang I love looking at that truck.
Don't tell Jason...he might want royalties. :D

You know guys... I can't take all the credit for Brutus without telling you that Max was my inspiration for my truck. Max (RIP) was JC Jones' J-truck a few years ago and I guess he dismantled the truck due to rust isses. FWIW, JC Jones also provides the server space for this website/BB in Golden Colorado.

That's funny right there. I've always caught myself looking up pics of Brutus. It makes it hard for me to want to keep the J4000 stock as much as I do. When I started farting around on the CFSJA site after I popped my FSJ cherry I saw you post the "It's Done!" pics of your lift. It gave me the push I needed to convince myself I could lift Herc and have it be worthwile. Now my friends think Herc is pretty hot, but Brutus is so bad it might just as well be Herc getting driven over in that pic. The pee would have to go though...

Well y'all can eat your hearts out 'cause I got to behold the majesty that is Brutus today. :p
That truck is 1000 times bigger and badder in the flesh than it is in the pics, that's all I can say. I parked my Wagon beside it and the top of the box was juuuuuuust about my roofline. Got to meet up with Jason and a few fellow Jeepers as well for a bit. Loved the Rhino grille story...that's some respect right there.
Cool truck! And good guys all around too.

They are meeting over there today to pull Shimniok's old motor and MAYBE put Norm's engine in. I am sure they wouldn't mind another set of eyes/hands around. I have some stuff to do in Fort Collins today so I can't be there.
Tires on Max were 36x12.50 Super Swampers IIRC.
