Are you getting the Ford knuckles with this setup? I think they should bolt to your Dodge inner C, but measure first. From there it's gravy.

you need to do your homework on axle years there pardner. the unit bearing axle was not used until the body style changed in 1993 (1994 model year).

you'll have to compare a ford ball joint against the dodge one, you might have to change them to accomodate ford knuckles. because that's the only way you can change the unit bearing to hubs unless you get the dynatrac kit. Dynatrac makes their own spindle and the hubs are *rumored* to be nodular iron versions of the stock GM D60 hubs.

The problem in the dodge bearing swap is two-fold. The dodge knuckles have a square, 4-bolt pattern to mount the spindle. other MFG's use 5 or 6 bolts, in a pent/hex pattern. The spindle mounting flange is square on the dodge, round on other axles. hence the need for a different knuckle or custom spindle.

the other issue is the axle shaft. not only is the long side 2 piece, the stub shaft is 33-spline. yeah, strange. hence why the dynatrac kits come with 35 spline stubs and warn premiums. You *might* be able to use standard ford or GM stubs, depending on length. assuming you can swap a complete outer assembly from a ford or GM, you'd need that stub shaft.

personally I'm wondering if the ford and dodge ball joints are swapable, might have to machine your C's or something. In all honesty it might be cheaper to slice the welds and press off the C's, then swap them for some dedenbear C's and knuckles. rotate them for proper caster while doing it, unless you rotated your perches to compensate (gonna change the pinion angle if you did)
