So get this, Yesterday the Grand decides that it wants to idle like Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley for no apparent reason.
Now what's really weird is this thing does this crap a couple of times a year. It'll just one day decides not to idle smooth and idle too slow so I get a screw driver and mess with the mixture screws and turn up the idle speed then it runs fine again, then maybe a few days later it's idling too fast and I have to put everything back the way it was. Then it's fine for another 6 months or so.
What's up with this thing?

around here they switch from a winter to a summer blend of gasoline. It can cause a few problems if we get a late cold snap or an early warm spell.

Jeepguzzi is right I think. I'm in Phx, too, and we just did our seasonal switch from ethanol to methanol a few days ago.----I have an annoying hesitation in 3rd gear that's just developed. I hope like crap I can blame it in on the gas...

Update to the original post:
Yesterday I'm driving home from work and I can smell gas the whole way home.
I look under the hood after I got home with the engine still running and see a small amount of gas leaking from the return line at the fuel filter so I move the clamp a little and the leaking stops but I still smell gas.
I see some drops of something hit the ground so I look around some more. Then I see it...gas coming out of the fuel pump where the two halves of the pump join together.
To make a long story short I got to spend the rest of the night changing the fuel pump. Exactly the kind of thing I felt like doing after working all day.
One bright side though, the Jeep didn't leave me stranded, it kept running to get me home, gas leaking and all.
Jeeps Rule even if they are a PITA sometimes.
Still don't know if that was the original problem as I have had that problem before, maybe just a coincedence?

I get the same exact problem when it's damp - some seem to think it's my ignition module, except that I've tried about 3 different ones.
