Hello their I had an XJ that I used for my dd and the rear was lincoln locked I had noproblems and the only way to put it back to the norm is to replace it.

Yep, will need to replace the entire carrier I would suspect.
I drive a welded 14-Bolt as a DD, tire wear is a bit more severe out back.
Other than that no real issues.
Of course I do not drive on ice or snow out here either.
How well it was welded might be of some concern, I pulled and replaced a welded carrier from a D44 a few years back as I was not sure if it would last based on what I saw inside.

a lincoln-locked rear end will act just like a spool. If you dont drive on the ice, it won't be a problem. expect tire spinning/chirping around corners, faster tire wear, and if you hammer the gas, expect it to get squirly. other than that, no issues. I suggest you find an empty parking lot and learn how it behaves under corners, throttle, etc. Once you know what to expect, it's no biggie.

You bet, I can too.
Hoping for something in that size range for the next project.
Of course, I'll be dead by the time I finish the truck but a sammi could be cool.
