Does anyone know anything about Mile Marker part time kits? My 77 Wag has one on the QT, so I have Warn manual hubs up front. Can't really find any good literature or good opinions (better than books!) on it.

It replaces the original center diff of the QT with a solid piece (no brakecones) and uitlizes the E-brake vacuum switch to engage the 4wd....

Installed one in my '74, then 155k miles later, it jumped the chain and had to replace it, just traded the thing off for a 208 for my 87.
Have the orig paper work on it, and a great schematic that shows its breakdown, but don't have a scanner. Email me and remind me tomorrow and I'll take a dig pic of the info, assy procedure, schematic, etc. for you.

I have been running a Mile-Marker kit for the last 19 years now. I have the one with the 16% overdrive in it. The only thing I have had to do is change the fluid (dexron tranny fluid)every year or so and swap the chain twice. If you go to replace the chain, you need to know wether or not you have the stock replacement, or the overdrive. While I don't do alot of gonzo four wheeling, I do drive the thing every day.
