body lifts

I have an 86 Jeep Wagoneer, full size jeep. I was hoping someone could tell me if I can (1) do a 3 inch body lift on this vehicle as there is some confusion between people I have spoken with, and (2) if someone could recommend a kit which I can purchase for it. I live in Canada, but don't mind to pay US for it. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome ulster, sounds like your going with some big meats. River Beast has a link that will tell you what has been proven so far. He lists different tire sizes and the lift it takes to do it.
I was wanting to run 35's with a 4" lift and 3" body. I got the 4" softride and I'm looking for maybe a 2" body but if I had to do it all again I would do the rusty's 6" suspension lift and a 1" or 2" body lift for some 35's
