You need at least 3-4" offset to clear the suspension and stuff... Pretty sure my 15x8 wheels are 3 5/8" offset.

Go to Summitracing.com and check their prices. I think that they are that much brand new. I know that the 17x9 soft 8's that are on my dodge were only 50 something........................

They should work. 0 offset on 8" wheel is 4" back spacing. I do not think you would have a problem with 4" BS on a 16x8 steel wheel.

you need to clarify if they have zero offset or zero backspace. you need 3-4" of backspace, but on an 8" wheel, like case said, "zero offset" is equivalent to 4" backspacing, putting the wheel center directly on the centerline of the rim casing.
assuming the 16x8" condition, zero offset (4" backspace) should work fine. Make sure to put one on and see if it hits any steering or brake stuff. Being a 16" i'd imagine no clearance issues.
You should be fine but I would still check.

I do not know what a "soft 8" is but that's a 16x8 with 4.25" of backspacing shown above.

I measured mine today. They are plain ole 15x8 white spokes with 3.75" backspacing. I have very slight tire rub on the front spring at full turn with 33x12.5x15 Baja MTs.
