ive searched around and found plenty of chevy frame swaps but no bronco swaps. Anyone ever done this or know anyone who has?:)

I see the only reason to do this is for the coil front right? and maybe the 40 gallon rear tank? Both of these you can graft onto the FSJ frame.

Ok, good luck. Being that short is something even the CJ guys move away from by extending their frames. Then the frames aren't boxed like a Jeep frame either. I'm not saying don't do it if it suits your purpose, it might make a pretty nice "between the trees" kinda' trail rig, but it would be pretty limited overall. I've driven a few Broncos, old and new and they just don't cut it IMO. The Cherokee/Wag frame is ideal for a lot of purposes, and although I wouldn't put a truck body on it, I'm sure they do real well even with the lighter frame. Broncos like to swap ends, the 109" WB overcomes that with a sweet balance.

I have a Jeep truck body sitting on top of a F250 driveline/chassis and it works well.

Not sure it would matter since the Cherokees and Wagoneers share the same wheelbase.

You're going to have either a minor or major wheelbase issue depending on what year Bronco frame you plan to use. The Chero has a WB of 109". The late Bronco's 104" and the early ones something like 92".

What year? I was thinking of doing that to get a diesel under the chero. No where near as good turning radius, but a stout frame nonetheless.

A Bronco/F150 frame and suspension could be cool, especially if you are building something to go fast in the desert. You can get lots of travel out of that TTB front end. That could make a wicked pre-runner or chase truck.

Fast and SWB is not a good combination on any terrain...

Tell me about it. Our racer is a XJ.

Yep, wouldn't be my choice to race on 101.4"s but it's better then ~90 for sure. Of course, if you have the room to spin it's a good way to scrub off excess speed. I dropped from 90mph on a icy banked curve to 35 in three 360's and strove straight out of it with a SWB. In most cases swapping ends isn't going to come out that well and with 109" it isn't as likely in my experience.:)
