Do I need to remove that little black plastic cover that hides the switch? Mine looks like it's glued or siliconed on there. I didn't want to pry too hard and break it off if that's not what I'm supposed to do.
I don't see any other easy way of getting to it with the A/C vents there hanging off the dash just below the switch.
I need to track down the problem with my rear glass not able to go down. Thanks!
I've been going through this for weeks now troubleshooting the rear window. You can usually get to the wires on the dashboard switch if you take out the piece of a/c vent in front of it. Then you should be able to see the wires. Make sure the switch has a good ground, black wire. There should be a tan and brown wire. One will have power with the switch one way and the other power with the switch the other way with the ignition on. I had a good troubleshooting guide that I can probably find again if you need it.

Hey Boston,
Trace the wires thru the firewall. Make sure the connection is snug on the engine box side. Mine came loose and I chased for a week until I found that plug.If that plug is good then check that you have power at the rear motor. There is a good list of articles in the historical section on this page.
