Im getting togather my dual case 205-203-465 (slowly). And im gearing up to do the shifters. I am going to twin stick the 205, and build the shifters myself. Anybody have any pics I can get some ideas off?

i made cable shifters for my doubler.
Cable shifters (http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=49871&highlight=cable+shifters)
sadly i havnt made the handles yet, (not a lot of time after moving)
and i ground the shift rails per this pic.

unfortunately i dont remember the measurements that i cut. i think it was about 7/16" or something. i would verify that though before you grind them.

problems how?
take em out when you pull the shafts, when you reinstall everything they go back in and do what they are supposed to. (prevent opposite high/low engagement.)

You only need to remove one roll pin from one shift rail... the one closest to the input gear. Remove the pto cover, remove the freeze plug from the pin access hole and drive the pin through with a punch, use a magnet to pull it out of the bottom of the case.
When you go to put the shift rail back in use a something through the rail tunnel to move the large hole in position while reaching through the pto opening to hold the shift arm in position, then stuff the shift rail in. Slide the rail in while holding the shift arm centered under the freeze plug hole so you can see when the pin hole lines up with the hole in the rail.
Take a small enough pin punch that the roll pin will fit over it and then use that as a handle to insert the pin... drive it in slightly then pull the punch out and use a large punch to drive it the remainder of the way.
