odometer stuck at 89,999

odometer stuck at 89,999 but the tenths digit continues to rotate. no problems with spedometer. I'd like to fix it to keep track of oil changes, gas mileage, etc. any suggestions?

The odo parts are all plastic so I'd guess a piece broke off and/or wedged itself somewhere. Ain't much you can do except pull it apart and see what's broken then send to to a speedo repair shop or get one from a boneyard.

Mine was stuck on 172,346 for a year. Oh wait that's because it had no motor in it...
