This is for a J10 pickup with stok springs. Yes, i did a Search but some of the guys are using Chevy springs...
I am using dropped spring hangers similar the RB's shackle inversion kit. The front spring bracket is directly underneath the original spring eye mounting hole.
When the rear springs are at full droop = all the axle's weight is on the springs = the rear shackle is near vertical. When I jack up the axle to take the J10's weight, the rear shackle is a lot more than 15 degrees backwards. If I continue to jack up the axle to full stuff, the shackle never hits the spring hanger. Is this correct or do I need to compress/extend the spring into the rear shackle?
Any advice is appreciated!
