starter relay question 86 GW

can someone give me an overall wiring explanation of this. I see the 12v to it and the wire going to the starter. on top there are two wires and on the bottom one wire. I assume these are going to ignition switch/neutral switch? to bypass the relay I could jump from 12in to wire going to starter?

That is correct to bypass the selinoid Jump the cable from battery to cable to starter. I use a Booster Cable and hood direct to battery then hit the terminal to starter wire. What ever you use to Jump the selinoid tha cable mast be as thick as the battery and starter cables or it will get HOT!!!! ;)
