47RH to NP 229

Alright this is still in the planning stages but would a dodge 47RH bolt up to a jeep np229?? I know that the 229 is pretty close to a 208 and dodge used 208s. If it doesnt bolt up what transfer would that has the correct drop for an 88GW.
And yes I know the 47RH will not bolt up to an AMC 360.

I've been looking for information about this swap, too. I'd like to put a 4bt in my '81 Wagoneer, backed by a transmission with overdrive. There are non-computer control kits out there for the 47rh which handle torque converter lockup, and overdrive shifting. This makes the 47rh a viable choice.

But, what transfer cases fit behind it? Will a 727 output shaft drop in and allow it to talk to the NP219 in my Wagoneer?

Sure, the 4bt will fit, but what trannies has anyone used? How difficult is it to convert the FSJ clutch pedal assembly to run a hydraulic clutch, if a manual is used instead?

Lots of questions, but seemingly few answers.
