i am in the process of rebuilding my engine and gave Summit a call. they carry fenderwell headers for ONLY $79!!! i know they fit my budget but what i'm wondering is how'll they'll fit the old girl. i imagine it'll limit my tire size and/or turning radius has anyone ever put these on their JEEP and if so how'd they fit? thanks for any replies

I believe these are for cj's and will interfere with stuff on an fsj...no experiance whatsoever with this, just an educated guess.

The only vehicles I've ever seen fenderwell headers work on are CJ's and 55-57 Chevy's. I don't think they are for FSJ's.

I bought the Hedman Headers for $99.00 and I can tell you that I would NOT buy them again. Please do yourself a favor and spend a little more for the Edelbrock or Doug Thorleys. I've already had two header bolts actually fall out, they don't even come with high-heat paint and now my front drive shaft is hitting my headers when I hit hard bumps!! They interefere with the spark plugs and didn't even come with a decent set of bolts. It seems that with these you get what you pay for.

I hope that helps

thanks Matt, 64Trvlr, and Phil (dive 30), Hedman headers would have been my next choice ( $99 ) I think I'll stick with stock until I can afford to buy a good set Hooker has a ceramic coated set ( part number 9817-1 $500 ) that I bet would look real good under the hood ;)
