After getting used to the large towing mirrors on a Silverado, the mirrors on my 83 Wagoneer seem painfully small. Is there a good way to upgrade and keep my power adjusment?

Maybe someone else can answer if there's a power adjustment replacement. I've never tried replacing those with an adjustable mirror.

But here's what I did... I bought a set of Stainless 5"x8" Ford pickup mirrors from around a 1980 model. They even have the little flat bar on them that swing the mirror out if you need for towing. Part #EOTZ-17696-D They list for $65.55/ea. but I got both of mine for $80. I got one off of eBay and had the bodyman get the other at his price. They look sweet on there and don't shake like all the aftermarket mirrors I have bought in the past at AutoZone and Wal-Mart. Now those are totally useless.

royale with cheese, huh. By chance are you a pulp fiction fan??? (Great movie)

I've always been a fan of the round mirrors found on the 66-7 Ford Rancheros, but I'm not sure how much you'd be able to see out of 'em.

i saw a guy that put power mirrors off of a 90's bronco or pickup on his wag. they weren't quite the right angle, but they were close. they can be had in black or chrome, and i wouls suspect that wireing them to the orig controller wouldn't be too hard. the ford doors have a similar slanted part where the mirrors mount as the jeep doors do. the downside is that they are a litle on the pricey side even from junkyards.

Thanks for all the advice, I would like to stick with the power option, but I like those big ford mirrors, too. Yes I am a Pulp Fiction fan. Its freaky, but it happens.

As soon as I get my grubby paws on a set of (cheap) YJ wrangler mirrors, they'll be go'in on the wag. From my research it looks like they'll work with a little jeep ingenuity. :D

I'll let ya'll know.
