hub conversion

My 86 wag has a 228 case in it (44's). I was wondering if it was possible to change the hubs over to manual locking? some guy wants them for his tj but neither of us know.

sure its possible on the wag. just purchas the lockouts,remove your splined drive flanges,install the hubs.

the tj guy wants to use your axle? or he wants lockouts for his d30? the former would be alot of work to swap :eek: and the latter is possible by buying a very expensive kit that replaces the "sealed bearing hub assmebly" with a conventional spindle and a ford type lockout.
