Well .... in comparison, the Rover hardly articulates - but your jeep is gonna be great! That six inch lift is awesome, really makes the truck.

I know, it's tough to let that classy British iron go - I had a '55 series 1 before the jeep but once nice thing... atleast the electrics should be pretty good in the american car.
nice job.

Looks great! 6" lift and 33's is how a Wagoneer should look.

How did you attach the recovery points, are they welded or bolted or both. Did you fab those yourself or where did they come from?

Nice work.

yea that rover was great for articulation, the only things that bothered me was the pos motor, electrical nightmares, and the fact that theres really not much there as far as improvement (unless you make everything yourself. heres the way i look at it:
stiff Jeep on 33's locked > articulate land rover on 31's open
at least until it flips anyways

I made the recovery points, theyre bolted on. If for some reason that doesnt hold then I will weld them up, but lets hope that doesnt happen

thanks for all the comments

Why did you go with the 470 holley and not the 670?

Oh God, I just fell in love with that paint scheme. Awsome Wag. I hope for mine to look like that one day...It looks similar to yours before the lift just different paint. Wanna trade?

went with the 470 because i didnt want a carb too big that would flood off-road, the 470 is the right size for a semi-modified 360 anyways.

The recovery points are 3"x8"x1/2" (height x length x thickness) plate steel, nothing fancy. They bolt in through the same holes as the bumper.
