under body spare tire storage

Mine was removed.What does the brace mount and hook to.I have what looks to be a mount near the rear of the gas tank,that appears to be for the brace.What does the other end hook to.

There is a long bolt/stud that protrudes down through the rear crossmember (and trailer hitch, if yours is still there). The two "fingers" at the end of the carrier hook around that stud and over a nut that is run up from the bottom. You tighten up the nut to secure the carrier, and loosen it to unhook it (using the lug wrench stuck in the little receiver hole to lever it up and down). I think I've got a spare carrier if you need it, including the little spring-loaded levers at the gas-tank end.
