One other thing I forgot to mention was the heat.

Now I ain't no stranger to heat, but when I come up Colorado way I enjoy feeling those cooler temps. Unfortunately, the last three Invasions that I've attended were hot. I remember not feeling any relief until later that day at around 10k feet.

Dang it was flat cold. It was 60 degrees at 5:00 pm when we got back to the KOA.
How cold was it? It was so cold those 'Out Back' guys never returned!:eek:

I think august dates would be bad for most folks with kids. School starts early any more and I think we'd lose the families with kids if we go in august.

OK - I am setting the date so we can just get on with it.

July 11, 12 & 13 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for trail runs. Be in Ouray by Tuesday to catch runs beginning Wednesday. This will work best for folks with kids in school. We are still on for folks dropping in here July 9 & 10 with at least one local Mancos trail ride on Monday the 9th.
