Been looking at Nate Marsh's 73 Wagoneer for a couple of days in Petersons and was thinking that the hight is aprox where I would ike to be, looking for input as to what I need to acomplish it. I have decided to relocate the fender openings for the front axle much in the way Marsh,s rig is done and am considering reworking the rear in a similar manner. How much overall lift would i need to run 38's and still alow decent articulation?
Keeping in mind that I plan to open the fenders dramaticaly. I have been taking measurments and am considering radical surgery to allow a similar amount of rear fender room ( as the front will have).
Any thoughts on having a spring shop create springs vs. buying a kit. I am from Canada and the only realistic way to get a reasonable price on a lift kit is to drive the 10 hours to tthe border and pick up a kit that has been drop shipped. The reality of buying a existing kit means 2000+ canadian dollars or a 700+ kit plus a 20 hour drive and lots of incured costs.
So question #1 How high do you guys feel I need to go to run 38's on a 87 GW
Question #2 do you feel that having a spring shop make the spring packs is a good option.

Sorry for being so long winded , any thoughts or rants would be appreciated.

Hi Craig, how are you doing? Ever sell the business?
I had looked at city spring's web site last night, If I need any help with figuring out specs I may get in touch for help.
I picked up that j20 in Grovedale for a couple of sheet metal parts and diffs ,I plan to use the hd44 front and the rear d 60 ( at least in the short term).
How much overall lift did you build into your springs?

Hey check out the web site for the business.
Thanks
