First question…Where can I find poly bushings(like Energy brand or any other thing of the equal)for waggy leaf springs.Energy does not list them. The bushings I have in the springs now are shot and I would prefer to replace them with aftermarket poly bushings. Does Espo have these or do I need to look in a different direction.Or do they even offer them?

Second question….I am getting ready to regear.I have the ultra low 2.72 gears in the axles now .I am dropping down to 4.88s.Almost positive I need to replace the carriers(you guys can correct me if I am wrong). What do I need to look for as far as finding a used carrier? Is the carrier all I need,or do I need the spider gears and all?Any help would be very helpful. Also if any of you have the carriers I need are you willing to part with them? Oh, the axles I have are a Dana 44 front and a AMC 20 rear out of a 85 model Grand Waggy.
Thanks in advance,
Lightnin.

I am not really sure about the bushing but I need to know when you find out. As for the gears, you Are right you will need to change the carrier. They are really cheap. $15 for new ones from WCD (http://www.differentials.com/). They also have used ones. They alos have used gears. Give them a call they are very helpful.

YES... you need to change the carriers... the cutoff for Dana 44's is 3.73's and down 3.92's and up... not sure on the AMC 20. I assume you are not going to be driving this FSJ daily... I run 4.89's and I hope you are running 35's or better...it'll be an awesome crawler for sure... I can go everywhere with 4.89's... lots of power unleashed...

Ditto what PC said... if your not going lockers and open diff or LSD will be fine... I will warn you of running drop-in style lockers on anything over a 33" tire... I have had several friend blow them apart with 33's let alone 35's...just to keep you aware of this situation... ;)

Try www.espo.com (http://www.espo.com) for bushings...
