Just out of curiousity, do they make a high pinion 3rd member for a standard Ford 9"?

Quick answer:

Yes. If you google 'high pinion 9"' you should be able to find more than one company that does this.

Yeah, I really should have done that and have now. Not cheap, but look great. I will have to start saving my money for that.
