Anybody running either 325/60R15 BFG All-terrain or Mud terrain tires? I guess they are equivalent to a 31/12.5 tire. What size rim width and offset? How much lift to prevent rubbing? Thanks,

I'm running 35x12.50x15 BFG MT/KMs on stock Chebby rims. The rims are 8" with a 3.5" backspacing. Widthwise, the front tires' lugs rub my leaf-springs at about 90% of full turn, but clear all brake/steering components, and they rub the inner sheet metal in the rear at full stuff (they do stuff though). I had to re-route my e-brake cable from between the rear leafs and the backing plate to inside and under the springs since there is only about 1/4" clearance between the rear tires and the rear leafs. I will no doubt change to an 8" or 10" rim (tires ride and function well on 8" rims) with 3.25 or less backspacing and will probably try out spacers in the meantime if I have enough lug stud. Otherwise, the rubbing is acceptable and not unsafe. I ran 30x9.50x15s with a saggy stock suspension for years without any problems. I would think that 31's on would fit on a stock non-saggy suspension for most uses and with a 2-3" lift of some sort for medium trail duty. Do a search here for tires size fitment as there is a big post on what hits and what fits with different lifts/rims, etc.
