look down in Site Suggestions, I braved the idea of getting the archives updated, here's your chance. Give our friendly mods a hand picking out some good ones.

Speed Bleeders moved to Archives under "Other" (we do not have a Brake section and it did not seem to fit into the Drivetrain section).

Thanks chr1s,
Tad

While you are at it try to list the appropriate section it belongs in.

Also, if there are extraneous posts/replies inside the post that do not lend themselves to the overall theme of the post I'm going to be editing them out to save space/time/etc.
Thanks,

gambler....great idea.

tad....thanks for following it up with decisiveness =)

I'm going to make this thread a sticky on top of the forum.

IMPORTANT

Only reply to this thread if you are:

1 - Suggesting a specific thread with a link to it
2 - Give a destination (category) to which it belongs
3 - Don't post links to all of your own posts for the last 3 weeks :D

Thanks!

Agreed mike, thanks for thinking ahead.
So?
What do we have?
That big brake thing that Tony/babywag setup would be good.
I'd like a good set of SOA posts and the post mount lift stuff was highly valuable.

What else?

EDIT:
I copied and made it a sticky in Gen Tech also for the folks that do not venture into Gen Disc.
Thanks

Square Front Driveshaft moved to Archives under "Drivetrain"

Thanks Brutus,
Tad

Is there a way for the mods to make the tech archives NON-date sensitive? What I mean is when I pick one of the tech archives, I have to change the date to whatever just to get A thread to show up. Or is it easier to make a single thread that has all the links in it to each thread?
A: I think it would require setting the entire board that way just select from the "Beginning".
B: Gees, that would take forever to go through them all.
C: They seem to show up in the archives based on the date of the last post in the thread if that helps any.

Also, does a thread automatically get locked when it goes into archives or can it be updated? I haven't looked at them that closely.
Yes, anything in the archives is locked.

I am closing this thread now.
If you have archive suggestions stick the link in the suggestion sticky over in Gen Tech (because they should be tech related).

Thanks Ryan,
It was a great idea and it helped get a lot of stuff moved.
