If you went with a BJ's 6" lift and SOA you would end up with 11-12" of spring lift in the end.
Just ask yourself... for what you intend on using the FSJ for... what is the final lift you want? What size tires? Then use a guide like
http://www.cfsja.org/tech/suspension/lifts.txt
to figure out how you are going to get there.

Depends on your money situation as well.... how far into this do you want to go and again... for what reason..... these are important questions to ask yourself.
You can also use this as a tire/lift guide

Thanks for that link BRUTUS that was good reading! but I was left with a question: Since a lot of these jeeps have factory D44's front and back why wouldn't you upgrade to GM or Ford disc brakes it's not very expensive but would be a huge upgrade. After doing my SAS on my Bronco and a D44 put in the rear I had GM disc brakes installed all the way around. GM because it was just cheaper then using Ford stuff.
Has anyone put beard or mastercraft seats in thiers Jeeps? I am just curious to what fabbing if any needs to be done to secure these into a FSJ.

I believe lots of people do upgrade to GM brakes. Do a search for Rear disk brake conversion. mine has front disks already so I wouldn't be inclined to change them to GM disks... FWIW.
I put a set of Besttop Aqua Sport seats (less than half the price of mastercraft) in Brutus a couple of months ago and I love them. I will tell you that any seat that is designed for a CJ (not sure about TJ or YJ) will ALMOST bolt right up. I had to open the holes up on mine to 9/16" so they would fit. Not a big deal really. Took all of 15 minutes. I am sure the mastercraft seats will be real close... I almost forgot... do you have factory buckets? or a factory bench?

The seat question was just a question I am actually leaving in a half hour on a 120 mile journey to look at 5 Cherokees that are for sale, will be my first FSJ nut I have Beards in my Bronco that I would move to the Jeep (I like the Jeeps better but dont tell anyone at the Bronco boards )
ok was trying to put a pic in here but couldn't get it to work:banghead:

If they were ordered for a F*** bronco... not sure if they will bolt right up or not. It might take some minor fab to get them to work.
