Planning to swap the quadratrac tcase/rear d44 for a D20/rear D60 combo.
The D20 is shorter than the BW1339, but the D60 pinion is longer than the D44. (I haven't measured the tcases, but I'm pretty sure the D20 is shorter). And there is an adapter in there too.
Not too many swaps that I've seen will allow you to use your existing driveshaft. However, since I'm gaining space due to the tcase, and losing some at the axle, could it bolt back in?
I'm sure someone has done this swap. Save me from climbing under my rig in this cold weather, and let me know what the results were?
