junk yard spring options

Ok well i know this subject has been done to death and yes i searched it and now have a sore head:banghead: i wanna soften up the rear of my j20. So i am doing my own shackle flip but what springs should i use? my original j20 ones are done and was thinking of using waggies but was open to other options........

Just get some 1/2-ton suburban springs. You may end up having to move your mount points forward or backward but they're easy to find and known to work well off road.

J10/Waggy/ or Chevy 63" springs pretty much covers what has been done. Not much else to add really :rolleyes:

Could run bigger tires aired down for off road, or pull leaves out of your spring pack.

ok guys thanks for the info.....the rear leafs i have now are snaging on one side so there going in the garbage......i think im going to just go with the waggies.......do you have to move mounts with the 63 inch chevies???

Depends on how Fussy you are I guess. I had to have the wheel centered in the wheel well............So I had to move both hangers. If you can live with the wheels off center in the wheel well then yea you can just move one of the hangers. I pulled my 63" springs from an early 90's Chevy 1/2 ton, Burbs would also be another source
