Would an M715 bumper bolt up to my Cherokee? Are the frame rails the same width apart and everything? If so, anyone have an M715 bumper? Thanks!

I think the frame horns are different, I don't recall the wag/chero having the correct holes.

79 and later FSJs had frame horns. the m715 does not have frame horns. you would have to cut off the frame horns on the 83 in order to make the 715 bumper fit.

okay, that makes sense. the frame horns, atleast what i think the frame horns are, that hold my stock bumper on don't look to sturdy for a heavy duty bumper, especially one with a winch.

so how will the m 715 bumper attach then, does it have mounts that will bolt directly to the frame once my frame horns are removed? thanks!

M715 do have frmae horns, they are just very different then the 79+ FSJ frame horns.

You can see the M715 frame horns in this pic.

okay, so an m715 bumper will not be a bolt on application. thanks everyone for clearing that up...
